Hot Stuff In Cool Colors

I just finished a wonderful piece designed by Debbie Rowley for DebBee's Designs. It's called "Hot Stuff." I changed the colors to lavenders, blues and greens for a "cooler" palette. If you're looking for a new challenge, try this design!

The piece is done in Splendor, Needle Necessities overdyed floss, HiLites, cotton floss, perle cotton, Patina, and Watercolours, overdyed and regular metallics, and Neon Rays.

I enjoy using the YLI ribbon floss much more than the Neon Rays - it isn't as slippery - much more "user friendly."

I've seen Hot Stuff before, but the colors are just too bright for me. Now, seeing your color scheme, I may have to put it on my wish list. I'm not very good at changing colors, though. But you've done an excellent job of it!

Love your colors for Hot Stuff! My EGA group is planning to do this as a group project and I was not interested in it until I saw your colors. Could you possibly tell me specifically what colors you used? I am not anywhere near a needlework shop so it is very difficult for me to pick out colors on my own. Thanks

I absolutely love this color scheme. What are the chances of getting the fiber list from you?
